You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the MATERIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT (63) located in Panama City, FL.
Duties
You will assist supply specialists in assuring effective material support for weapons systems and operational equipment that is in direct support of production.
You will coordinate stockage and distribution of material with users and supply personnel to assure that sufficient material of the correct kind is available to meet predicted need.
You will assist Defense Re-utilization and Marketing Offices (DRMO) by maintaining records of all incoming excess materials including processing items by verifying DD Form 1348.
You will assist the Warehouse On-Site Lead with Operating materials and Supplies (OM and S) program management; performing warehouse management/administrative functions; conducting daily warehouse inventory management operations
You will Issue Release/Receipt Document, with incoming material and inputs information on non-hazardous and hazardous waste sent to Defense Re-utilization and Marketing Offices (DRMO) into a tracking database and/or spreadsheet.
You will assist Shipping section in the processing of inbound and outbound small parcel and freight shipments.
You will conduct physical inventories to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. Inventories include spot, wall-to-wall, and sample inventories.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain a Forklift/Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You must be physically agile and able to perform tasks i.e. climbing, stooping, bending, standing, or walking for long periods of time; assume awkward on uncomfortable positions; lift and carry items, materials, and supplies weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Personnel protective programs and practices (safety shoes, goggles, and gloves) are in place to ensure employee safety and health and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Delivering supply support services, such as receiving, inspecting, or storing, to support inventory control, using an automated system like Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) for an organization onsite inventory support.

Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.

A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
