Serves as an Administrative Officer (Staffing) within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations, Chicago OSS (WCN51).
Duties
Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or a member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility. Performs, monitors and tracks a variety of administrative tasks in implementing an office's administrative programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F (GS/FG-5-9) level that demonstrates the ability to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes collaborating with supervisors, managers, and administrative staff using planning, developing, monitoring, and execution skills to resolve specific problems in the administrative program areas covered by the position i.e. personnel management, travel, time and attendance, records management, etc.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
Education
Substitution of education for the G Band: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Education may be combined with experience to meet the one year required specialized experience. Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
To qualify based on education, you must upload a copy of your college or university transcripts by the closing date. Failure to do so will result in loss of consideration. If selected, official transcripts will be required prior to employment. Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
