You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the International Weapons Branch, Weapons In-Service Engineering Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will establish, direct, develop, prepare, coordinate, and integrate the identification, configuration management, development, acquisition, and delivery of integrated logistics support requirements for systems or equipment.
You will direct input and maintenance of technical or operational plans and requirements applicable to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) effort for Lightweight/Heavyweight Torpedoes and related Special Support and Test Equipment.
You will ensure Technical Documentation and proposed revisions/changes are accurate and adhere to the configuration of existing Defense Institute of Security Cooperation Studies (DISCS) Standards for Lightweight/Heavyweight Torpedoes.
You will assess requirements necessary to coordinate ILS functions with other related functions such as configuration/data management, reliability, maintainability, quality assurance, safety, standardization, life cycle costing.
You will ensure timely and quality delivery of ILS element inputs of country case.
You will prepare budget estimates for the ILS segment of the system or equipment life cycle cost projection.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC421
Qualifications
For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing strategy and implementation (e.g., establishing, directing, preparing, coordinating) to ensure integrated logistics support (e.g., review of drawings, specifications, ordnance publications, provisioning, change proposals) for weapon systems or equipment.
For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying and analyzing strategy required to support development of integrated logistics requirements for weapon systems or equipment.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For GS-11: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.;
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled.
