The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is surrounding area for Fort Campbell (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration. The position is located at Fort Campbell KY Community Recreation Division, Sabo Physical Fitness Center. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual.

Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Leads other employees, instructs staff with tasks received from supervisor and distributes and balances work-load. Distributes and balances work- load assuring that each employee has enough work to keep busy. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physcial is required for this position.
• Must be able to work during the hours of operations to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A one year probationary period may be required.

Qualification Requirements are: Work experience, which involved dealing with general public.
