You will serve as a Temporary Services Shop Supervisor in the Temporary Services Shop (25D), Miscellaneous Services Branch (TRF-342), Waterfront Services Division (TRF-340), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will be responsible for planning weekly work schedules to be accomplished by shop subordinates in accordance with program directives and requirements.
You will be responsible for providing technical direction over efforts of subordinates to ensure the efficient accomplishments of shop operations.
You will provide administrative supervision and management over shop operations and promotes EEO awareness.
You will be provided given assignments outside of the work area and will be made consistent with management needs and the workload.
You will establish deadlines and priorities on the basis of the requirements established by the command.
You will provide the expected performance of subordinates, make formal appraisals of their work performances, and determine their training needs.

Perform Temporary Services Shop Leader tasks or work with employees in subordinates in complex tasks performing duties such setting the work pace, demonstrating proper work methods, ensuring that proper work materials and tools are available, training and advising employees on proper procedures, policies, directives, and other trainings, and ensure that work is done in a timely manner.
The ability to plan, layout, modify, test, and troubleshoot electrical lines, circuits, systems, etc.; planning, inspecting, laying out fabricating, and testing of sheet metal parts; or planning, laying out troubleshooting, modifying, and testing of temporary production of water and air systems.
Demonstrate considerable experience with management, direction, and coordination of activities concerned with scheduling and performing in industrial facility functions such as electrical, pipefitting, machining, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, and the ability to direct others in performance of work associated with such trades.
Ability to supervise subordinates and trainees while working to ensure that the work is completed accurately and in a timely manner with minimal cost.
Provide management and technical support of shop operations including planning, work direction, and administrative support to include promotion of participation of the subordinates in management programs such as beneficial suggestions, quality assurance, cost reduction, and safety improvement.
