Duties
You will perform grounds maintenance work, such as mowing, weeding, brush clearing, watering, pruning, and trimming according to instructions.
You will use/maintain a variety of hand and power operated garden tools and equipment such as seeders, spreaders, edgers, hedge trimmers, pruning shears, sprayers, spades, hoes, rakes, mowers, chippers and arm cutters.
You will drive one or more types of light trucks that typically have a gross vehicle weight of up to 10,000 pounds, such as pickup trucks, panel
trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, and sedans to transport materials and equipment.
You will recognize developing hazardous road and traffic conditions and selects alternate routes to avoid potential problems.
You will utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work
environment.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
