You will serve as a Warehouse Coordinator in the Facility and Plant Maintenance Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will perform receipt and delivery of tools, tooling, safety PPE, and consumables. You will receive Delivery operations associated with the tool room warehouse of the Tooling and Transportation Division. You will ensure accurate tracking and positive control of parts and materials from receipt to final point of use. You will operate computers to perform record search, data input and data corrections. You will unload, unpack, log, complete and stores or expedites delivery directly to shop personnel requiring material ordered. You will receive and examine tools, tooling, safety PPE, and consumables ordered to verify identity, quantity and final disposition.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Supporting maintenance projects involving a multitude of trades by providing required materials and repair parts on a priority basis for the repair of industrial equipment; (2) Utilizing Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and General Services Administration (GSA) system, GSA Enhanced Check-Out (GECO) or equivalent, to assist in kitting and ensuring accurate tracking and positive control of parts and materials from receipt to final point of use; (3) Issuing materials to artisans based on work order requirements and charging costs against a valid work order and maintaining inventory by recording all issues and returns of material and equipment; and (4) Contacting customers, supply organizations, transportation units and others to obtain material status information and following up on urgent requirements to ensure expedited delivery of materials to work sites.
