In the Office of Human Resource Management, we take care of the people who make it safe to fly by providing programs and services to over 45,000 employees worldwide. The Executive Director, LER, plays a pivotal role in leading the labor and employee relations function at the FAA and works closely with executive leadership, managers, labor organizations, and other stakeholders to understand the evolving business and workforce needs and translate them into a labor and employee relations strategy.
Duties
The Executive Director, Labor and Employee Relations is a strategic advisor and thought partner responsible for formulating a labor and employee relations strategy that supports the agency’s mission and vision. The Executive Director will design and execute state-of-the-art programs and systems that focus on excellence in employee and labor relations products and services for approximately 45,000 employees. The incumbent executes the duties and responsibilities via a team of approximately 130 employees and forecasts and executes a $23.2M budget.

Qualifications
