Duties
You will make technical inspections or uses technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective automotive vehicle parts, components or systems using a variety of test equipment.
You will assist journey level mechanics in disassembly, repair, assembly, or replacement of major components and assemblies such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
You will perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty, or maladjusted parts.
You will utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations for the assigned trade.
You will perform operator maintenance on vehicle and maintains all required logs and maintenance documents.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
