About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Supervisory Investigative Analyst for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division Command Headquarters and assists the Chief Intelligence Division in developing, coordinating, and implementing the Command Intelligence Program.
Duties
Analyze, assimilate, and evaluate all available criminal intelligence information collected.
Extract and organize statistical data for the command.
Conduct a wide variety of analysis to detect trends, identifying modus operandi, predicting potential crimes and crime targets.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of updated criminal intelligence developments and relates the knowledge to internal reports and procedures.
Exercise primary staff responsibility for the coordination and management of the Army Anti-Terrorism Training Program.
Assist in the development and implementation of the Army Insider Threat Program.
Oversee and direct the day to day operations of a team of Investigative Analysts who analyze criminal intelligence and are engaged in the conduct of highly complex intelligence gathering.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- In accordance with Change 3, AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, the incumbent of this position must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Mobility Agreement: Must agree, in writing, to comply with management directed permanent change of station to meet mission requirements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: develop criminal intelligence programs, analyze criminal intelligence data to provide advanced notice of criminal and/or terrorist activities, serve as a liaison to exchange pertinent information on criminal matters, and plan work to be accomplished by subordinates in a 24/7 environment supporting watch duties. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
