This position is located on a Forest Service Job Corps Civilian conservation Center.
The incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance duties for the Center. The incumbent will also assist with the planning and execution of the Center's maintenance management plan.

Duties
Perform building maintenance repairs (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating and cooling, painting, etc.) and minor construction activities.
Identify and perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
Apply fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides.
Read, and apply specific instructions, work orders, specific installation instructions, schematic drawings or blueprints.
Use of hand tools and variety of test equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.
- Per Public Law 104-134 all Federal employees are required to have federal payments made by direct deposit to their financial institution.

- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
- This is a Test Designated Position. You will be tested for illegal drugs prior to appointment and randomly thereafter. Appointment and
