Duties
Visit staff offices, as assigned, to conduct inspections with standard operating procedures, policies, regulations and other quality requirements.
Audit data sharing agreements, requests for information and other data requests, as assigned, to assure conformance with established policies.
Report problems discovered during audits per standard operating procedures.
Responsible for records identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposition of all Quality Assurance related records.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in the quality/inspection system; computing/summarizing data results to prepare reports and/or charts depicting pertinent relationships to make improvement recommendations; and reviewing regulations, policies, and/or operating procedures to meet and/or exceed quality standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
