Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.
Duties
Performs a variety of tasks and functions in support of service business operations, including but not limited to: business locations common area maintenance; vending route and warehouse operations support; car washes servicing and maintenance; laundromat servicing and maintenance; and various MCCS offices, operations spaces, and outdoor areas maintenance. Maintenance and servicing tasks and duties include cleaning, inspections, minor repairs, and general upkeep of interior and exterior of facilities and other property. Fill sand bags when necessary. Set up and strike tents, chairs, tables, concert stages. Assist with parking and traffic control.

Qualifications
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must have high school graduate ability in written communications and math skills. Must be able to communicate, read, and write acceptably in English. Once trained: Must have the ability to work safely while moving light to heavy objects. Must have the ability to use power equipment and perform maintenance on this equipment. Must be able to recognize hazardous materials and wastes in regard to chemical cleaning compounds and solutions. Exerts moderately heavy physical effort in controlling heavy equipment, carrying, setting, and working on ladders and scaffolds. Able to endure prolonged standing, stooping, bending, kneeling and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries supplies and materials. Ability to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage. A valid California driver’s license is required.
