Duties

Act as a social media content creator/manager for Madigan Army Medical Centers family of social networking sites. Review social media products and adjust content to reflect audience needs. Maintain Madigans official presence on the U.S. Army CORE site, YouTube, Vimeo and other video sharing platforms, as well as on Flickr and other photo-sharing platforms. Track latest industry developments and recommend Courses of Action in new communication developments. Maintain relationships with Service, Agency and Industry counterparts to keep Madigan at the cutting edge of new communications technologies, platforms and strategies. Respond accurately and appropriately to public queries from the Madigan-managed Social Media sites and official Madigan internet sites.

OR Education: Masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Public Affairs Administration, Public Management and Leadership, Ethics and Social Justice in Public Affairs, legal Issues in Public Affairs or Media Communication or Journalism. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
