This position is located in the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Office of the Deputy Inspector General (ODIG) for Investigations within a component directorates. The incumbent manages a variety of management, analytical and administrative
services for ODIG-INV where assigned.
As a Management and Program Analyst GS-0343-13, your typical work assignments may include the following:
Duties
Manages budget development and tracks execution for headquarters and field offices for the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) and Deputy AIG.
Administers human capital processes for approximately 150 employees for the AIG.
Manages, reviews, and coordinates Requests for Personnel Action, award nominations, performance management documents, and other human capital actions.
Administers learning management for directorate staff of approximately 400 employees.
Manages internal controls in areas of responsibility for compliance with OIG policies and procedures.
Administers directorate time and attendance for headquarters and field offices.
Administers directorate travel funds, providing allocations to the divisions.
Administers telework packages for directorate staff.
Plans, coordinates, and controls directorate requirements for space, facilities management, telecommunications, computers and other equipment and services.
Administers property accountability for the directorate, and/or serves as the Property Accountability Officer.
Oversees the work assignments of others providing training and technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (see http://www.sss.gov) .
- Position has been designated as Non-Critical Sensitive. Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Incumbent is required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and is subject to random drug testing for the duration of service with DoD OIG.
- Current DoD civilian employees are not required to submit to drug testing if moving from one Testing Designated Position (TDP) to another with no break in service, unless deemed appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the Federal service or at an equivalent level. Specialized experience includes: coordinating and monitoring the functions of administrative services such as budget, travel, training, time and attendance, property, and space. Manages, reviews, and coordinates Requests for Personnel Action, award nominations, and other human capital actions. As well as analyzing and understanding the policies and procedures related to these functions.
