This position is located in the Housekeeping Department of the Cheyenne River Health Center. The incumbent may rotate hours of duty, including different shifts, weekends, and holiday duty, is cross-trained to work in several areas throughout the Service Unit.

Duties

Dusts, waxes and polishes furniture. Vacuums, sweeps and mops floors. Washes walls, doors and ceiling fixtures by use of ladders and scaffolds and may change light bulbs. Moves heavy furniture, supplies and equipment. Maintains a stock of cleaning materials and equipment to perform janitorial work. Ensures that safety and security rules and regulations are followed and ensures that materials and equipment used are stored safely and are properly protected. Cleans offices, storerooms, hallways, restrooms, waiting room areas, examining rooms, and also picks up trash in front of the clinic and walkways outside.
