This position is a full-time, temporary appointment not-to-exceed one year with potential to be extended for an additional one year for a maximum of two years based on agency needs and potential funding.

Duties
Operate light duty motor vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds (such as pick-up trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, etc.) to transport personnel, material, or equipment to work sites located on the park.
Scrub, strip, wax and polish floors using heavy (industrial type) powered scrubbers and buffers. Washes walls using powered w9IIwashingmachine and/or by hand.
Vacuum/clean rugs using heavy vacuum cleaner. Adjusts, cleans and oils these machines and changes brushes, rollers, buffers, an. d other attachments anthem.
Wash and replace blinds and washes ceiling fixtures and room partitions using ladders and scaffolds.
Move heavy furniture, supplies and equipment.
Use various preparations to clean and maintain linoleum, wood marble, marble, and various kinds of floor, wall and ceiling surfaces. Removes stains from a variety of surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions..
Work on ladders and scaffolds to change light bulb; wash walls, etc. Runs powered cleaning equipment; cleans and oils it, and changes brushes and accessories.
Keep shop areas clean and in order. Sweeps and wet mops floor and removes oil, hydraulic fluid, grease, and other spilled liquids
Move heavy boxes, crates, parts, or other obstacles in order to clean up the area and picks up scraps of wood, metal and other materials.
Remove scrap and trash cans from area to central pickup point. Wipes benches, machinery etc. as directed. Performs general trash collection/removal from areas such as offices, restrooms, public areas, etc.
A selectee receiving a first appointment to the Federal Government (Civil Service) is entitled only to the lowest step of the grade for which selected for. The display of a salary range on this vacancy shall not be construed as granting an entitlement to a higher rate of pay.
Qualifications
