This position is located in the Atlanta Region Office, Risk Management Supervision and responsible for assessing risk to the Deposit Insurance Fund. The selectee will be assigned to either an Atlanta Region or Dallas Region large bank, depending on location applied for, in Risk Management Supervision and will be responsible for assessing risk to the Deposit Insurance Fund.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for the CG-13: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-12 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as examining a financialinstitution’s safety, soundness, and risk posed to the Deposit Insurance Fund.
To qualify for the CG-14: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the CG-13 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as performing review of supervisory matters or examining large, complex or troubled financial institutions applying credit appraisal procedures and techniques.
Basic Requirement: Applicant must be a commissioned examiner.
Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
