Duties

Safely install residential, commercial meters Use data collection devices to capture critical metering systems Perform inspections of residential and commercial systems Accurately and efficiently complete work orders involving metering systems Supervision of Meter Reader Installation Program and employees

Qualifications

BS-2801-00: Must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Examples of qualifying experience include: Work experience as an Electric Meter Reader and Installer where duties included installing, disconnecting and reading metering equipment in residential, commercial and industrial applications; performing inspection of service entrance equipment for residential, commercial and industrial applications; programming and installing AMR transmitters in meters of all voltage and classes; performing functional testing on metering equipment.
