You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS AND LIFE CYCLE ENGINEERING, 40000 of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will serve as Team Lead responsible for quality planning, direction, coordination and guidance during all phases of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QC). You will be responsible for planning, assigning and leading tasks, establish training plans, provide technical guidance and resolving work problems. You will be responsible for the overall development, implementation, institutionalization and continuous improvement of the Quality processes, procedures and related documentation. You will evaluate resource fulfillment requirements and assist in assigning resources based upon KSAs, priority and Command policies/direction. You will review Competency products to insure they are independent and objective in nature, technically correct, timely, and professional in appearance.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical leadership, mentorship and development of the Quality Team to include Quality Control (QC) inspections, Quality Assurance (QA) audits, and maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, and operations. .
