Duties

You will serve as a Business Support Specialist for the Army Field Support Battalion (AFSBn) of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC). You will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of acquisition, contracting matters, contract processes, and business policy/guidance. You will serve as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on contracts within area of responsibility (AOR), time performing COR duties will vary by location. You will be responsible for the initiation, development, and recommendation of policies, procedures, guidance and control for contracted activities and variety of business-related issues covering the entire assigned area of operations. You will perform on sight inspections of contractor work to ensure the contractor is complying with the terms and conditions of assigned contracts.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
