About the Position: This position is located at Fort Jackson, Richland, South Carolina.

Duties

Serve as an engineering technician with emphasis on electrical and mechanical aspects of engineering. Develop requirements and review plans and specifications for maintenance of the systems to include inspecting, servicing, and testing. Assure facility systems are maintained for the varied and uniquely designed facilities for which precedents are not directly applicable. Confer with health care authorities to obtain background for proposed studies and determine needs for equipment and required reliability rates.

• Valid state driver license is required.
• The incumbent will have to complete Life Safety Code 101 certification within one (1)year.
• This is an inclement weather essential position.
