The incumbent of this position may work a flextime, compflex or maxiflex work schedule.
This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position.
Duties
Sorts invoices, performs review of invoices, and enters invoice data into the FEDLINK automated accounting system. Independently processes recurring accounting documents and transactions that use different and unrelated processes, procedures, or methods (i.e., transactions are not completely standardized, deadlines are continually changing, or transactions are interrelated with other systems and require extensive coordination with other personnel) based on general standing instructions regarding what needs to be done, applicable policies, data and information required, and priority of assignments and deadlines.
Qualifications
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Knowledge of fiscal service operations.**
Ability to provide customer service.**
Ability to perform clerical or technical duties in support of financial functions.
Ability to utilize an automated accounting system.
Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
