About the Position: This position is located within the NICoE Department of Administration Resource Management at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, MD. Incumbent will support various training programs within the Directorate.

Duties

Responsible for administration of various training programs within the Directorate. Provide administrative support to Directorate Training Programs. Assist in coordinating training events. Manages the electronic learning management system for all training programs within the Directorate. Assist with coordination of travel and registration for large conference attendance. Process board certification of personnel. Schedule trainings, receptions, seminars and conferences for the Directorate. Conducts surveys for training needs. Provides procedures for the administrative processing of applicants for sponsored courses, including responsibilities for course preparation in coordination. Evaluates training requests/applications for compliance with procedural requirements and completeness and obtains required approvals. Monitors, tracks and maintains Privileging and Credentialing requirements for the NICoE staff. Tracks all providers needing peer reviews, adds new providers to the peer review list, makes quarterly peer review assignments and enters assignments within the peer review system.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 3 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
• This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
