About the Position: This position is located in the Army Futures & Concepts Center - Fires Capability Development Integration Directorate (CDID)-Concepts Division. The Fires CDID develops Fires CDID-related concepts, requirements, and experimentation to validate DOTMLPF integrated combined arms capabilities that complement other joint, interagency, and multinational capabilities. Acts as the user representative to the materiel developer for FA and AMD systems.
Duties
Serves as the Secretary to the Division Director and their Deputy.
Assists supervisor's subordinates in the procedural aspects of expediting the work of the office, including executing the overflow workload of clerical help to take care of fluctuating workload
Provides guidance to division personnel on a variety of internal and external administrative reports and requirements.
Coordinates the directorate Officer Efficiency Rating (OER) function.
Serves as a liaison with numerous offices on and off the installation for personnel administration.
Serves as the department point of contact with other organizations in matters pertaining to requesting and granting security clearances.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Applying knowledge of duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and programs of the staff sufficient to perform assignments such as reviewing publications, directives, and other materials; 2) Coordinating the work of the office with other offices, including advising others in subordinate offices on new procedures or regulations, and on information to be provided for use in conferences or reports; and 3) Applying knowledge of Officer Efficiency Rating (OER) sufficient to serve as the point of contact on any matters relating to OERs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
