Office of Civil Liberties, Privacy and Transparency (CLPT) leads the IC in its efforts towards greater openness and accountability. CLPT leads the integration of civil liberties and privacy protections into the activities of the Intelligence Community (IC). CLPT is also responsible for institutionalizing the Principles of Transparency for the IC. CLPT also champions the Principles of Professional Ethics for the IC : Mission, Truth, Lawfulness, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence and Diversity.
Duties
Contribute to the management and coordination of projects for Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Senior Executives by researching, writing/editing, collaborating on, and performing the initial review of time-sensitive information, correspondence, papers, policy and briefing materials in response to taskings and action items from internal nod external sources.
As Transparency Executive Project Coordinator with Office of Civil Liberties, Privacy, and Transparency (CLPT) at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), you will:
Develop and deploy outreach and education campaigns using both digital and analog methods, focused on the IC's Principles of Intelligence Transparency.
Serve as Executive Secretary for the Intelligence Transparency Council, assisting with agenda planning, and project management for the council's regular meetings and activities.
Capture best practices and share process improvements, gathering inputs from IC stakeholders, and helping to define criteria for evaluating the success of transparency projects.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States
- Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI)
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- A two-year trial period is required for all new permanent appointments to the ODNI.
Qualifications
Knowledge of the ODNI, IC agencies mission, organization, collection, and production responsibilities, as well as ODNI and IC administrative policies, procedures, and authorities.
Extensive knowledge to organize events, prepare briefings, reports, and presentations to organizational leadership, serving as successful liaison to senior IC officials, policy makers and other senior U.S. Government Officials.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with ODNI and IC stakeholders to establish and promote new ways to incorporate the IC Transparency Principles as standard business practices.
Demonstrated ability to utilize innovative and creative problem solving and analytical thinking skills to develop, organize, clarify, and enhance alternative approaches to the most sophisticated multimedia requirements.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in written reports, and to logically analyze, synthesize, and evaluate multiple sources of information for their inclusion in briefings and written documents.
Five years of communications strategy/multimedia design experience in crafting creative digital presentations, to include: stakeholder engagement a solid grasp of UX/UI principles, and successful project management.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in program management, strategic communications, content development.
3+ years' experience orchestrating the development of user facing, creative, interactive digital products, including managing efforts with both long and short timelines, and forming a coherent strategy for each.
Education
Bachelor's Degree.
