Incumbent works in the Commander, Navy Region, Southwest (CNRSW) Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Incumbent provides support and assists in the operation of CNRSW fitness centers and gyms.

Requirements

• Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background Investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• Must be able lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Practical knowledge of one or more recreation activities. Skill in the maintenance and use of recreation materials and equipment. Ability to perform routine program organization and administration tasks (e.g., maintaining attendance records, inventory records, preparing retail sales records, etc.). Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Must possess a valid CPR and First Aid Card or within the first 60 days of employment.
