Manages the daily operations of HBPC office and serves as an administrative assistant to the Chief Nurse, Home and Community Based Care Services.
Duties
Program Assistant ensures all clinic administrative requirements meet established standards and completed accurately and within the allotted time frames for each step of the evaluation process. Duties include but are not limited to:
Completes assignments in accordance with accepted practices
Automated data processing
Administrative support
Database processing
Data management
Spreadsheets
Timekeeping
Scheduling
Training will be in the San Juan facility then transition to Ceiba.
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 07:00am - 3:30pm

You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-5 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: coordinating installation for hardware and software; performing daily diagnostics to determine operating problems with electronic equipment; performing routine computer hardware and software inspections; assisting staff in troubleshooting technology; entering IT remedy tickets; assembling and organizing data on programs for meetings and reports; maintaining electronic records; requesting computer access for staff; receiving telephone calls and visitors, determining the nature of the call or visit and directing to appropriate staff; routing correspondence; maintaining an automated calendar; ordering and maintaining office supplies; making travel arrangements; serving as timekeeper.

Physical Requirements: The work is sedentary. Requires walking, bending, sitting, standing, and carrying light objects such as papers, books, small parts or driving an automobile.
