Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- TDY 30% (Position may require 6-12 weeks TDY in support of USACC Cadet Summer training at Fort Knox).
- Must successfully complete a background investigation
- This position requires a pre-employment physical.
- This position requires a pre-employment drug test.
- This position requires a valid state driver's license.
- This position requires a Lautenberg Amendment.
- May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Material Endorsement (HAZMAT).
- May be required to serve as Unit Prevention Leader (UPL), if selected to perform these duties, Command will ensure incumbent completes and maintains training certification.
- Completion of a Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the certification Training.
- Completion of Contracting Officer's Representative course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
- Moderate lifting of 50 pounds or more is required.
- May be required to complete a one year probationary period.
- Must complete the DA Form 5019.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Applicants with current or prior permanent Federal service, must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the second lower grade/level GS-05.To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience at the GS-05 level is defined as: Receipt and storage of supply items, conducting inventories, maintaining physical security of small arms and ammunition, prepare reports to document supply transactions. All other candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-06. Specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as: Experience with a governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the unique requirements to plan and execute a supply program.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
