You will serve as a Training Administrator in the Command Operations Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will oversee the development of all training programs and methods used in the artisan developmental programs. You will provide technical guidance concerning curriculum development, facilitation, and evaluation concerning FRCSW training programs. You will coordinate and conduct training workshops for instructors, work lead trainers, supervisors and training specialists, advising them of current sound instructional strategies. You will identify training requirements and provide or acquire career development, education, and training services relevant to all employment life cycle phases, from orientation to retirement. You will conduct training planning and management, orientation, career counseling, training course development and instructor support, and organizational development. You will coordinate with counterparts at other Fleet Readiness Centers and Navy schools to ensure that training programs, methodologies and evaluation criteria are current, consistent and in conformance Navy Education and Training standards. You will oversee the development and execution of the apprentice program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing, planning, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing a curriculum that supports technical skills development/remediation, and professional development (nontechnical) training courses for artisans; 2) Overseeing the development of training programs and methods used in the artisan developmental programs, such as an Apprentice Program; 3) Developing or leading in the development of training plans, curriculum outline of instruction, course training task lists, tests, lesson plans, trainee guides, individual training plans, and course content standards and objectives for use by trade theory instructors to support artisan training; 4) Analyzing return on investment for education and training investments and collecting/providing data for recurring or special reports.
