Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Duties
Plans, implements and administers the Education and Career Program, and counsels units, military members, family members, retirees and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian members on issues including but not limited to: career and transition assistance, education and financial planning to support development and successful execution of individual roadmaps for military career planning, reintegration to civilian society and successful career development.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field appropriate to the work of the position and three years of experience in the occupation, or a related field or work area, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Knowledge of one or more of the social or behavioral sciences and human resources. Skill in interviewing and counseling to enable clients with a wide variety of vocational, educational, and disability problems and concerns to receive, assimilate, and make realistic career, transition, life and work choices. Knowledge of human behavior as it relates to performance, individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning and motivation. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships using tact, diplomacy, and overall professionalism. Ability to operate a personal computer, printer, etc. and current knowledge in using various office computer programs and software applications. Ability to collect, evaluate and disseminate information on trends, concerns, and needs of related organizations and other populations to identify priorities and goals. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
