Duties
Receives cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise and gives change as required. Maintains record of sales.
At the end of shift, turns in sales records, money, customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all moneys and items sold.
Provides information concerning availability of goods sold, prices and condition of merchandise.
Keeps records of customer traffic during the day and identifies slow- or fast-moving items and trends in customer comments or complaints.
Responsible for overall operation of mobile sales truck, performs operator safety checks on vehicle daily, and notifies supervisor of any vehicle malfunction or required service.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in inventory control and ability to operate a cash register.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at level necessary to complete required reports.
Must pass physical examination (ability to lift 50 pounds).
Ability to drive one ton truck with manual transmission (one year experience preferred).
Must possess valid drivers license.
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
