About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Herlong is approximately 60 miles north of Reno, NV, and 35 miles south of Susanville, CA. Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily child care available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.) Surrounding area boasts a full range of outdoor sports/recreation activities.

Duties

Advise agency managers and supervisors on the Equal Employment Opportunity complaint process to assist them with their responsibilities Analyze complaints of discrimination to determine whether they should be accepted or dismissed. Coordinate Equal Employment Opportunity complaint procedures to ensure cases are processed within prescribed timeframes. Coordinate training for staff personnel involved in Equal Employment Opportunity complaints management.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
