You will serve as a Fuels Specialist in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
Duties
You will maintain the Maximo Fuels Asset Management and Maintenance System, which is the Department of the Navy's (DON) primary automated enterprise database system for fuels asset and maintenance management.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for the Maximo Database system.
You will coordinate with maintenance functional area leads to recommend system changes and serves as the focal point for resolution of recurring and system operating issues.
You will initiate and/or participate in a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives and process mapping efforts.
You will evaluate workload data and make recommendations for the improvement of Fuel Department
operations to the Director/ Deputy Director.
You will manage all aspects of the vehicle fleet assigned to the Fuels Department.
You will serve as Quality Assurance Evaluator of the Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair Program.
You will serve as the Backup fuels accountant.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1)Advising, prioritizing, scheduling, and monitoring all types of fuels asset maintenance and management; 2) Coordinating with maintenance functional area leads to recommend system changes and serves as the focal point for resolution of recurring and system operating issues; 3) Investigating, evaluating, and correcting documentation of discrepancies arising from inability to complete asset maintenance actions; 4) Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of configuration and procedural changes.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
