About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Detroit Arsenal Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC).
Duties
Brief LNEC management on program status and recommends actions and initiatives to enhance logistics management efficiency and effectiveness.
Supports the LNEC Logistics Management program performing supply management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission or other designated program.
Reviews and coordinates lateral transfers for agency property book items.
Coordinates with contractors and suppliers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the material receipt, warehousing, storage, turn-in and issue of supplies, equipment and material required to support the mission.
Ensures the proper internal controls are in place to prevent potential materiel weaknesses from occurring.
Act as the Subject matter expert with the Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A) for inventory management and supply transactions.
Serves as the organizational Command Supply Discipline Program Coordinator.
Manages facility work orders, key control and inventory, and non-tactical vehicle service.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Physical required due to lifting of up to 40lbs.
- Term Position NTE 13 Months.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by performing supply duties such as maintaining accountability, inventorying, requisitioning, transferring, receiving, issuing, turn-in, and transferring property records; accurately maintaining electronic records for all items listed on the organization's Primary Hand Receipt and Sub-Hand Receipts; and auditing property accountability transactions for accuracy and completeness.
