This position is located at the U.S. Mint in San Francisco in the Budget and Accounting Division. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will have the responsibility of initial planning; determination of requirements; government acquisition; storage; accountability; and ultimate issue for consumption, retention, or disposal of production materials needed to support the United States Mint.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience:For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Utilization of an asset tracking system and enterprise resource planning software; AND -Performing physical inventories for an organization; AND -Documentary control of the receipt and or issuance of stock property items) in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures. OR A masters or equivalent graduate degree. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree. OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR A combination of the education and experience. For example: the completion of 50% requirements for J.D. and 6 months of specialized experience. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-09 you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
