This position is located at the U.S. Mint in San Francisco in the Budget and Accounting Division. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will have the responsibility of initial planning; determination of requirements; government acquisition; storage; accountability; and ultimate issue for consumption, retention, or disposal of production materials needed to support the United States Mint.

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will:
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Utilization of an asset tracking system and enterprise resource planning software; AND
-Performing physical inventories for an organization; AND
-Documentary control of the receipt and or issuance of stock property items) in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures.
OR
A masters or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree.
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related.
OR
A combination of the education and experience. For example: the completion of 50% requirements for J.D. and 6 months of specialized experience.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-09 you must have been at the GS-07 level for 52 weeks.
