You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will arrange or make adjustments to production schedules for optimum production processes.
You will identify a need for and know where/how to gather information, organize and maintain information or information management systems, determine its importance and accuracy, and communicate it by a variety of methods.
You will schedules production work based on production line or shop capacity, priority, and due date.
You will determine the status of production work in progress with knowledge of managing production work, projects, or operations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Tracking and/or monitoring customer requests for new, amended, or deleted work; 2) Performing cost accounting and work order tracking to support the maintenance operations; 3) Submitting funding documents to clients to acquire funds; 4) Supporting emergency service work by providing dispatching services, including electronically transmitting work orders and updating/closing projects; S) Ensuring that all material and support contract actions are complete; 6) Monitoring all job order numbers and recurring packages to ensure they are correct and funded properly; 7) Assisting in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and power point presentations relating to trending data, workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics..
