The position is the Program Director within the Office of Human Resource Management (AHR), Office of Compensation, Benefits Strategy, and Worklife in the Workers’ Compensation Division AHB-300. The incumbent provides leadership, direction, technical expertise, analysis, and guidance in various workers' compensation program support services.
Duties
The Director leads all policies, procedures, and programs associated with the enterprise-wide workers' compensation program. Plans, organizes and researches complex issues involving major uncertainty areas in approach, methodology, or interpretation to identify appropriate solutions.

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as: Experience with developing and managing a national workers’ compensation program.Experience with evaluating national program issues and devising policies and procedures to improve efficiencies, including cost containment processes and metrics.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
