Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Drill Worker I. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.
Duty Location: Yuma, Arizona
Duties
Assists higher graded worker in setting up and preforming preventive and minor maintenance on heavy mobile drill rigs
Responsible for driving heavy equipment in the transportation of drill rig and auxiliary equipment
Drills core, push tube, penetration and resistance, downhole hammer and power auger drilling
Assures that the shaker on deep hole rigs prevents rock form filling in mud holes
Mixes mud to be pumped in holes
Takes mud viscosity tests, attaches drill rods, retrieves core samples form core casing
Assists in making sure that engines are adequately filled and lubricated
Takes box core samples and disturbed specimens
Takes packer tests to determine porosity of subsurface formations
Qualifications
