Duties

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: continuationAssess and advise agency strategies for improving policy and governance of these business areas.Evaluate NGA material weakness corrective action remediation strategies to ensure they address root cause issues and assess progress against detailed schedule. Collaborate and identify a strategy and critical path to maximize use of NGA's resident financial management system capabilities to implement system controls and/or replace manual controls, processes, and legacy tools. Works closely with executive senior leaders to achieve strategic objectives related to resource management and financial statement audit outcomes. Coordinates and collaborates across OSD, the Intelligence Community, and high-performing civilian agencies for benchmarks and resourcing. Works closely with leaders at the DISES and DISL level to ensure internal integration, and to facilitate external integration across NGA, the Intelligence Community, and the OSD.
