Duties

Serves as the Army Library Program's expert librarian and/or team leader for the General Library Information System (GLIS). Work requires extensive knowledge and experience in integrated library system modules, computer networks, and information assurance. Develops, reviews, and revises circulation, acquisitions, cataloging and automation requirements, plans and policies. Catalogs and classifies material for enterprise library system.

Qualifications

A master's degree in library science, information science or information management from an accredited college or university. 2. Additionally, a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience which showcases the ability to perform technical services and/or library automation functions. Familiar with MS Office software products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint ad Access. 3. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
