Duties
Serves as a Management Support Assistant in a DLA Human Resources Services regional office supporting the HR mission elements in mail, file, and electronic media duties.
Prepares files to be digitally scanned, tracking the disposition of scanned records, performing acceptance testing of digitized regulatory records to accepted industry standards, and providing administrative support of the file conversion process.
Ensures the quality of electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs) created, imported, or transferred; and image quality enhancement is performed on all documents maintained in the EOPF.
Recognizes those documents which are appropriated for inclusion into the EOPF including placement into appropriate sub-folders.
Oversees the tracking and disposition of a large number of files in process for conversion.
Utilizes a front-end micro-computer to receive and convert customer data into various formats.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management Support Assistant (OA), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Typing Proficiency Requirement: Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
B. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-06 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Operation and maintenance of an electronic duplicating system with network and media conversion capabilities; Use duplicating systems to complete standard and non-standard jobs; Experience with maintaining electronic personnel folders.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
