The Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention is the principal organization within the FAA with respect to aircraft accident investigation and all activities related to National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The branch supports the development of voluntary mitigation strategies for system-wide hazards and the monitoring of system-wide mitigations adopted through these voluntary processes.
Duties
The Program Manager serves as the Manager, Integrated Safety Teams Branch, AVP-420, in the Integrated Safety Teams and Support Division, Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention, AVP. The manager performs duties to meet its customer support, program support and program development responsibilities; such as Commercial Aviation Safety Team (CAST), Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing (ASIAS), and the General Aviation Joint Safety Committee (GAJSC).
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
