This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Temporary duty (TDY), approximately 10% of the time.
• 1 year probationary period may be required.
• FMC-02 required within 24 months of appointment.

Specialized experience is defined as: which typically includes in-processing, out processing, and separating service members; responding to pay inquiries; reviewing military pay debts; processing adjustment actions; and reviewing military pay actions, handling problem cases or inquiries which involve auditing past pay records, debt collection of pay accounts of service members, former service members, or annuitants.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position education is not creditable, however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the related knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position..
