About the Position: Serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Quality Assurance Evaluator for the Fort Huachuca, AZ Food Service contract.

Duties

Participates in Food Safety Standard Management for a food service quality assurance programs. Assists in setting milestones for meeting COR and Quality Assurance and Evaluation program goals. Provides input of the outcome of food service inspections. Participates in handling a variety of problems and actions relating to the food service contract. Prepares appropriate correspondence and recommendations to the Contracting Officer. Maintains funding and inspection records for the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) food program.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires COR certification from the Department of Contracting and on appointment orders within 120 days of appointment. DFARS Part 201.602-2.
• Requires other than normal duty hours to conduct quality assurance evaluations during holiday feedings and meals outside normal duty hours.
• May require recall. During meal hours outside normal duty hours and weekends.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
