This position is established to lead employees involved in (1) lifting, transporting, and positioning materials items to and from vessels and (2) performing a wide variety of rigging and deck services for vessels in the National Reserve Fleet.

Qualifications
Qualifications for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify for the WL-Crane Operator Leader, your experience should include experience equal or equivalent to the following:
The ability to operate cranes at all boom lengths, angles and positions.
The ability to set the pace while working with others.
The ability to demonstrate proper work methods.
The ability to provide plans, blueprints, materials, tools and needed stock supply locations.

Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.
Ability to inspect.
Ability to provide production support services.
Knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, etc.
Technical Practices.
Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.
Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
Knowledge of materials.
