About the Position: This position is located at the Aviation and Missile Center located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Renewable Term Employees are eligible to apply for this position in accordance with P.L. 115-232 Section 1112.

Duties

Supports test directors in planning tests, leads mechanical installation and checkouts of test hardware. Serves as mechanical systems SME on Army powered rotor test stands and support systems. Manages inventory and calibration of Army hardware, test equipment, and tools. Communicates required actions to team members and reports progress to test director for timely completion of assignments. Represents Army interest to facility, customers, and contractors as lead technician.

Requirements

  • The incumbent of this position will be required to complete and file a Financial Disclosure Statement (SF 450/OGE-450).
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 15% of the time.
  • This position requires Secret security clearance.
