You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Navy Recruiting District of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT COLUMBUS.
Duties
You will identify gaps or inconsistencies in human resources records.
You will extract personnel actions from a human resources information system for distribution to customers.
You will respond to customer inquiries by researching human resources rules or regulations
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting military regulations to provide guidance regarding enlistment and recruiting programs; 2) Preparing personnel documents or correspondence using proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and format; and 3) Utilizing automated systems to prepare reports, and enter/retrieve data. Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
