About the Position: Serves as the Knowledge Management Specialist implementing Louisville District knowledge management (KM) initiatives, providing expertise as the project manager for knowledge management including digital and physical data management for duration of projects.
Duties
Develops and implements district-level policy and program guidance governing the implementation and management of Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives.
Develops policy and processes for the capture of knowledge content across the district.
Coordinate KM specific training to senior leaders and the workforce and coordinates knowledge management policies, processes, and tools to ensure scalability and compatibility within the district.
Serves as the KM transformation/change agent for the district.
Identifies internal best KM practices and establishes methodologies for sharing these across the district.
Provides technical expertise and training on system operations, software usage, and web/portal management.

GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience that utilized qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, and devise solutions; experience providing advice and guidance for improvements and anticipates areas of concern based upon data collected; providing technical and management guidance on the most appropriate method or procedures of analysis and evaluation to accomplish the mission and ensure optimum management strategy; establish and create reporting mechanisms to advise leadership on current and future state of the organization; developing and maintaining analytics, measures, and metrics in order to support and/or related business decisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
