About the Position: The incumbent of this position provides customer service to patrons visiting the dining facility including operating and reconciling a cash register to receive payment for purchased goods, restocking dining room supplies and light cleaning duties.
MAY work weekends and holidays, 8 hour shifts hours may start as early as 5am and as late as 6pm.
Duties
Utilize a cash register to process payment for purchases.
Restock dining room supplies such as, utensils, napkins and condiments.
Perform light cleaning duties such as, cleaning and resetting dining room tables and cleaning beverage machines.
Prepare daily food menu board with prices.
Consolidate cash and prepare cash turn in documents for reconciliation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: Six months of general experience in any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, OR experience that provided a familiarity with operating a cash register, restocking supplies and performing light cleaning duties
OR
Education: One year of education above the high school level. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 6. Then divide your semester hours of education by 30. Add the two percentages.
